Candidate Endorsements & Post Primary Election Outcome August 2012

Primary Election Outcome

The ballots have been cast and the primary is done.  What happened, and what happens next?  Washington is a “top two” primary.  The final vote in the August primary results in which two candidates will proceed to the General Election.  The top two may be of the same party.

NOTE:  Following each candidate’s name in parenthesis is the percentage of the vote they had as of 8/13/2012.  For the most current outcomes, please visit the Washington State Secretary of State’s webpage at www.secstate.wa.gov.
